The argument about a foot movie, at least from a strict Hitchcockian standpoint, is the predictability of its outcome. You know what's coming, and there are few false leads, dimwitted Scotland Yard inspectors or red herrings to throw us off the track. Not that we could give a major crap when all we want to do is soil ourselves to a pretty pair of feet. Voila, India Summer. In this little clip, the butler or chauffeur could have done it for all we care, because India from the get-go is naked and shoeless, and that's pretty much all she wrote. Sure, there might be a scoundrel lurking behind that tree to her left, but it's a moot point. Oh, damn, India's also showing us her foot bottoms. That you'll never see in a Hitchcock movie when all you'll get most often are Birds. But that's another genre and we don't intend to go there.
